Christmas has arrived on the farm! - @vauxhallfarm Christmas has arrived on the farm! - @vauxhallfarm in the heart of London

Make sure you check out all the festivities happening at our favourite urban farm:

🎅 Santa’s Grotto - step inside one of the cosiest Grottos ever and meet Santa and his chief elf the brilliant @playworkeramber
£8 per child present included

💡Winter Light Trail - the beautiful community gardens have been transformed into a twinkling wonderland of delights. Some great photo opportunities here so go grab your Christmas card family photo. £5 per adult.

🐷 And of course the farm and cafe are still open!

London’s city farms are vital to our urban community- allowing all children and adults in our city the chance to see farm animals, many of whom would not have the means/ability to travel out of town. Make sure you support them this Xmas!

🐾DON’T MISS THIS!!🐾

AD|PR INVITE

I don’t often give shows a five star review but THE BOLDS, the kooky story of a family of Hyenas living as humans in Teddington, deserves nothing less!

This laugh out loud adaptation at the Unicorn Theatre is a Yuletide gem not to be missed. Expect catchy tunes, tail-wagging laughs and more innuendos than you can shake a stick at! (Ahem MrJulian Clary! )

Run, don’t walk, to catch this wild bunch before they escape back to the Savannah!

👣 Baby’s First shoes !! 👣 Another huge mi 👣 Baby’s First shoes !! 👣

Another huge milestone - I’m not ready 😭😭😭😭😭…but she is. in fact she couldn’t be readier 🤣

Thanks to @trotterschildrenswear and @johnlewis (Kings Rd branches) whose combined wisdom made the process easy peasy.

Tips for buying the first shoes:

👣going barefoot can help to strengthen foot muscles and balance so try to wait out buying first shoes until you really have to. Normally 18 months+

🦶A baby’s foot is made up of cartilage which has not yet hardened to bone. Getting the right shoe is super important to protect those developing tootsies.

👠 Babies feet grow quickly so don’t be surprised if you need to upgrade to a new size every few months

👞 Velcro VS Laces? - IMO Velcro every time. Every second counts when you’re desperate to leave the house in the morning!

👢Style or substance? Above all make sure shoes are soft, flexible, breathable and have a good grip to support those wobbly steps. Boots and trainers probably best for a few months down the line.

🚶‍♀️Test them out! Before you buy let baby have a trial around the shop. make sure there’s room for toes to wiggle and their heels fit snuggly without slipping.

Anyone else busy running after a new walker?
