Before motherhood, Charlie spent more than a decade travelling the world as a professional aerial performer and dancer, performing in theatres, opera houses, casinos and cruise ships across Europe, Asia and North America.

After becoming a mother of four, she found herself navigating a very different kind of adventure. As the intensity of early parenthood began to ease, she realised how much she missed the books, culture, ideas and creative experiences that had always shaped her life.

In 2021, she founded The Daily Mumtra as a way of reconnecting with those interests and documenting a version of family life that felt curious, creative and engaged with the wider world.
Today, The Daily Mumtra has evolved into an editorial publication covering culture, style, brands and modern family life through a distinctly London lens.

Charlie lives in London with her husband and four children.
