Set within the beautiful Orleans House Gallery, this imaginative (and completely free) exhibition is a lovely choice for families looking for creative things to do with kids in London this April. Created by artists Abigail Hunt, Lisa McDonald and Matt Shaw, the exhibition brings together contributions from people across the Richmond borough aged from just six months to 94, all responding to one shared idea: how play and imagination can transform everyday life. It’s a hands-on, thought-provoking space where children are encouraged to explore, create and interact with the added bonus of discovering one of London’s most charming galleries.

Zippos Circus

Returning to Blackheath to kick off its latest tour, Zippo’s Circus is back with an all-new show, Celebration, marking an incredible 40 years under the big top. Easter is a brilliant time to visit LEGOLAND Windsor Resort, especially as the park celebrates its 30th birthday this year with lots of special events happening throughout. There’s a big focus on LEGO NINJAGO too, with themed celebrations including meet-and-greets with the NINJAGO heroes, fun building challenges, plus all the usual rides and plenty of extra surprises. If your child is a NINJAGO fan, it’s an especially exciting time to go. It’s also surprisingly easy to reach – Windsor is under an hour from London Waterloo station, followed by a short local bus ride or taxi straight to the park, making it a really doable and fun day out for Londoners.
