the Lady Mayors Show

For the first time in its long history we celebrate The Lady Mayors show! The Lady Mayor’s first full day in office is marked with a thrilling family friendly procession featuring over 100 floats, giant inflatables, horse drawn carriages, marching bands, military tanks, Chinese dragons and more. The route starts from Mansion House at 11am and runs to the Royal Courts of Justice. The route is happily car free (make sure to use the tube/uber boats) and the atmosphere is safe and lively. If the weather isn’t great and you prefer to be inside, this is a great day to visit St Pauls Cathedral which offers free entry on the day of the Lady Mayor’s Show.

Free Fireworks at Coram Fields

Head to the heart of London for the spectacular and best of all, free, pyrotechnic show at Coram’s Fields Fireworks Night! Hosted by Coram’s Fields, a unique children’s charity dedicated to providing free play spaces and enriching programmes for young people, the evening is a true extravaganza. It kicks off with over an hour of live stage performances before one of the city’s best displays lights up the sky. This year, the event has partnered with Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) to share the magic, broadcasting the stage show and fireworks live to children on the wards, making it an especially heartwarming event for the whole family.

Paddington The Musical

Hold onto your hats—and your marmalade sandwiches—for the world premiere of Paddington The Musical in London’s West End! Landing at the Savoy Theatre in November, this major new production brings the beloved bear from darkest Peru to the stage in a heartwarming, fun-filled adventure. The Horniman Museum’s new pop-up play space, “Creative Creatures Play,” is an imaginative treat for little ones! Aimed at under-7s (with a dedicated area for under-3s), this family session offers animal-inspired playtime fun. Your children can weave webs, build nests, dress up and camouflage like their favourite animals, and engage in constructive and physical play using soft shapes. It’s a brilliant way to encourage creative, imaginative, and physical exploration, making learning about the natural world a hands-on, joyful experience. The Snoopy Sculpture Trail

Get ready to hunt for everyone’s favourite beagle! The Fleet Street Quarter is hosting the UK’s first-ever free Snoopy Sculpture Trail, starting on November 19th. To celebrate the 75th anniversary of Peanuts, a dozen unique, artist-designed sculptures of Snoopy perched on his famous red doghouse will be hidden in surprise locations across the historic quarter. This family-friendly trail, which coincides with the area’s Christmas light switch-on, is a joyful way to explore the neighbourhood while celebrating the beloved comic strip character, who is returning to the very streets where the Peanuts comic was once printed.
